After retiring from the Air Force Scott Seifer moved back to central PA and settled into worshipping with us at New Life. Scotts calling was doing taxes--At first he volunteered throughout his career in the Air Force at the base VITA centers. Seeing a need for tax return preparation in the community Scott felt led by the Lord to start a Tax Return Filing Ministry out of New Life.
They say out of small beginnings come great things. This is certainly true of our Tax Ministry. From just 2 returns filed the first year (2012) to over 1500 filed in 2021 we have seen God use and bless this ministry. All donations go right back into the community to assist local non-profits. In 2022 we were able to bless 10 non-profits with a total of $50,000.
You don't have to attend New Life to have your taxes done or to partner with us to help others file their taxes. All federal returns are e-filed and all 50 states returns are available to e-file as well.
