What started as one man’s calling has grown into a powerful outreach that’s transforming our community—one return at a time.

 

After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, Scott Seifer returned to Central PA and began worshipping with us at New Life. During his military career, Scott volunteered with the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program, and he brought that same heart for service with him. Seeing a real need in our local area, Scott felt God leading him to launch a Tax Return Filing Ministry—and what started small has become something extraordinary.

 

From Humble Beginnings to a Community Impact

In 2012, we filed just two returns. In 2024, we had filed over 1,600 returns—and each one represents a person or family served with care, excellence, and the love of Christ.

 

But it doesn’t stop there:

Every donation received through this ministry is poured right back into the community.

In 2025, we were able to bless 17 local non-profits with $70,000—all thanks to the generosity and trust of those we serve.
